Within the scope of the Turkish Code of Obligations and the Turkish Commercial Code, the interest rate to be applied in cases where the amount is not determined by contract has been increased.
With the Decree No. 8485 published in the Official Gazette dated 21 May 2024 and numbered 32552, it was decided to apply the legal interest rate regulated in article 1 of the Law No. 3095 on Legal Interest and Default Interest as 24% per annum, effective from 01/06/2024.
